This number includes sales of both physical and digital copies of the game.
Final Fantasy XVI is selling slower than the previous part. Recall that Final Fantasy XV took only a day to sell 5 million copies sold. However, it is worth considering that the sixteenth part was released only on PS5, while the fifteenth was immediately available on PS4 and Xbox One.
