The publisher also updated the sales data for the original Drug Dealer Simulator. After the sequel's release, 137,000 copies were sold. The total number of Dealer Simulator sales to date is unknown.
Currently, Byterunners is working on a major DLC for the drug dealer simulator featuring a new open-world location and storyline. Players will be able to dive into the world of another illegal business—casinos.
Additionally, the Drug Dealer Simulator series will receive a collaboration with Netflix's series "Narcos."
It’s worth noting that the simulator sold its first hundred copies in the first 10 days of operation. At that time, gaming expert Simon Carless estimated Drug Dealer Simulator 2's revenue at $1.76 million.
The game was released on June 20 for PC.
