Spike Chunsoft and Bandai Namco announced that their new 3D fighting game, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, sold 3 million copies within the first 24 hours of release.
The game is available on PC via Steam, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. However, details regarding the distribution of sales across platforms are unknown.
The full release of DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO took place on October 11. The game was warmly received by the community. At the time of writing, it has a score of 81-83 out of 100 on Metacritic, depending on the platform. On Steam, the fighting game has garnered 22,800 user reviews, of which 93% are positive.
According to SteamDB, the peak online player count for the game on Steam reached 122,000 people following its official launch.
