The YouTube channel of the blogger “Upolo Fortnite” published an investigation about the activities of an employee of Epic Games Alexey Gromsky. He is accused of creating corruption schemes related to Fortnite.

As far as can be understood from the video, Gromsky is one of the company’s community managers. The investigation itself became possible due to the fact that Alexey’s acquaintance was dissatisfied with his behavior and began to merge internal correspondence with him.

There are a lot of claims. Among other things , Gromsky is accused of:

▫️in providing a limited number of bloggers (to their friends from the community) with information about future updates;

▫️requests to pay for such preferences;

▫️generating codes to activate expensive content with subsequent sale on the black market (in the amount of one million rubles);

▫️promoting the cards of friends in the creative Fortnite mode (the following scheme is described: a friend hires schoolchildren to clone a popular card, then publishes this card on his own behalf, Gromsky asks to put the card in a feature, and the revenue from the card is just shared with Gromsky)

▫️unethical, and often simply toxic behavior (allows himself rude statements about both the community and streamer partners);

▫️blocking the earnings of unwanted bloggers.

According to DTF, a similar video in English has already been blocked by Epic Games. The company announced that it had launched an investigation into Gromsky and at the moment blocked his access to its own infrastructure.
