PlayStation Store users may soon be allowed to leave written reviews for games. This feature is already being tested, according to Reddit user cusman78.

cusman78 mentioned on Reddit that he recently received an email from Sony inviting him to write a review for Helldivers 2. To do so, he needed to follow a special link to the PlayStation Store website. He noted that reviews can only be written in a browser and not through the console app.

cusman78's claims were corroborated by other Reddit users. Several people commented on his post, saying they had received similar emails — Sony asked them to leave reviews for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the Resident Evil 4 remake, and Fortnite on the store's website. It appears that, for now, only those who purchased games directly from the PlayStation Store can write reviews. One player mentioned that he was unable to write a review because he had a physical disc of the game.
It is unknown when or if the option will become available to all PlayStation Store users. Currently, users can only rate games on a five-star scale.
