Connie Booth, vice president of game development, has left Sony. So say the sources of the creator of the God of War series David Jaffe (David Jaffe).

The game designer said that he does not know all the details, and he does not know whether she left herself or was fired. But he heard that along with the PlayStation Booth, her team left.

According to Jaffe, Booth's duties will now be performed by Angie Smets, who has been in charge of the PlayStation Studios development strategy department since April 2023.

Booth started her career at Sony in 1989. For 34 years, she has managed to participate in the creation of more than a hundred games, including Crash Bandicoot, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, The Last of Us and Marvel's Spider-Man.

In 2020, the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences inducted Booth into the Hall of Fame for his work "on Sony Interactive Entertainment's many favorite games."
