One of the Roblox employees was subjected to a hacker attack. According to Motherboard, with the help of phishing, the attackers got 4 GB of the company’s internal data, including email addresses and identity documents of Roblox developers.
Roblox confirmed the hack and reported that it had received extortion threats. The company did not say how much the hackers demanded, but indicated that it refused to cooperate with them. Now Roblox is conducting an investigation, for which, in addition to its own information security specialists, it has attracted independent experts.
Recall that last week it became known that hackers penetrated the internal network of Bandai Namco. It is assumed that the ALPHV group is behind this.
