Riot Games and Activision Blizzard have started paying compensation to former and current employees who have suffered discrimination and harassment in the workplace. This is reported by Axios, who studied the court documents.
According to the publication, Riot Games has committed to transfer a total of $ 100 million to 1548 women. She has to pay each from $2,500 to $4,000, depending on the position and time of work in the company. Also, employees can apply for additional payments of up to $ 40 thousand.
As for Activision Blizzard, it will spend $18 million on compensation. According to the documents, the company is going to pay five- and six-figure sums to “hundreds” of women.
