Electronic Arts (EA) has prepared a report for the first quarter of fiscal 2023 (ended June 30). We share key data from it.

▪️80,7% of this amount fell on games services.
▪️Profit was $311 million (+52.4%).
▪️Receipts (net bookings) in games — $1.29 billion (-2.7%).
▪️Audience of EA games by the end of the quarter — 600 million people (+20 million in three months).
The company expects to receive $1.72-1.77 billion in revenue in the next quarter. This is below analysts’ forecasts. who expected to see a figure of $1.86 billion.
