Sensor Tower analysts have announced a new achievement of the Royal Match puzzle from Dream Games. Since its release in February 2021, by the end of June 2023, it has earned more than $1.2 billion. We are talking only about revenue in Google Play and the App Store, taking into account the versions for AppGallery and other Android stores, its revenue is even higher.
The main market for Royal Match was the USA. American gamers brought in 58% of the $1.2 billion. The second and third places went to Japan (6%) and the UK (5%).
Separately, analysts noted that Royal Match became the highest-grossing mobile puzzle in Japan in the second quarter of 2023, surpassing the previously leading Gardenscapes. Its revenue for the three-month period amounted to $21.18 million. How much the Playrix hit earned is not explained. But it is known that the growth rate of its revenue was seven times lower than that of Royal Match.
