The anime gacha shooter Goddess of Victory: Nikke has overcome a major milestone. According to Sensor Tower, since its release in November 2022, the game has raised half a billion dollars on mobile devices.

60.5% of the amount of Goddess of Victory: Nikke earned in Japan, 14.9% — in the USA, 12.1% — in South Korea.

Such success allowed Goddess of Victory: Nikke to take the 15th place in the world top of the highest-grossing mobile games in the period from November 2022 to September 2023.

Goddess of Victory: Nikke attracts attention primarily due to overly sexualized female characters in revealing clothing. Two more important success factors are aggressive advertising and regular crossovers with popular projects. For example, in February, Goddess of Victory: Nikke hosted a thematic event with the heroes of the manga “Chainsaw Man”, and in September — with the heroes of Nier: Automata. Both collaborations greatly increased the daily sales of the game — by 136% and 215%, respectively.
