Unity decided to gain a foothold in the Chinese market. According to Reuters sources, she is going to turn the Unity China division into a separate company and sell a stake in it to investors from China.
It is reported that Unity has been considering this idea for at least a year. The company hopes that by creating a so-called joint venture in China, it will become easier for it to work with the local government and developers.
Amid the rumors, Unity shares rose 5% to $40.96 apiece.
