Resident Evil Requiem has already become one of the fastest-selling titles in the series. The only game that might rival it is Resident Evil 6, whose first-day sales exceeded 4.5 million copies.
In a statement regarding the game's sales, Capcom reminded that Resident Evil Requiem performed well even before its launch. A month ago, the company reported 5 million wishlists for the project, so this result was expected. Moreover, Resident Evil Requiem was actively pre-ordered — the game has remained in Steam's sales chart since mid-January.
As of December 31, 2025, the total sales of all games in the Resident Evil series stood at 183 million copies. Considering the success of Resident Evil Requiem, they might soon surpass the 190 million mark.
Resident Evil Requiem is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.
