This is the conclusion reached by Pollen VC analysts. They studied the deals* on the gaming market, which were announced in the period from March 2021 to February 2022.
According to Pollen VC:
▪️85% of the companies sold published their own games;
▪️15% of the companies sold were publishers of third-party games;
▪️0% of the companies sold collaborated with mobile publishers.
*For the purity of the picture, Pollen VC did not take into account transactions worth more than $ 1 billion, i.e., Activision Blizzard, Zynga, Moonton and other large companies were not included in the statistics.
