Finnish Remedy is another gaming company that has shared a financial report. She said that the first quarter of 2022 was quite successful. Revenue amounted to €12.6 million, and operating profit reached €2.7 million.
Recall that last year Remedy finished the first quarter with a loss of € 201 thousand.
Most of the sales came from Control. Overall, sales of the game declined, but the company expected this. The developers also noted that in this quarter they did not receive royalties from the sales of Alan Wake Remastered, since its publisher Epic Games has not yet recaptured the costs of creating and marketing the project.
