The Finnish company Remedy Entertainment has divided the position of Director of Product and Technology into two positions. Now these directions will be led by different people.
Mika Vehkala, who has been working at Remedy since 2016, became the Chief Technical Director. He will be responsible for the Northlight engine and other technological initiatives of the company.
Markus Mäki, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Remedy, who also served as Director of Product and Technology, has been appointed to the post of Chief Product Officer. He will lead the development of the company's new games and manage the development of already released titles.
In a press release, Remedy indicated that now is a good time to reshuffle the leadership, since Alan Wake 2 has shown a successful start. It is not reported how many times the game was sold.
