Last week, the Steam release of the Raft survival took place. The discount, the joy of fans from the event, as well as an advertising campaign on Twitch allowed the project of the Swedish indie studio Redbeet Interactive to reach 100 thousand people online on Sunday.

This is a record for a game that has been in early access since 2016, as well as a generally high metric for Steam. On the other hand, for Raft, this achievement is not such a milestone. Previously, the project was already steadily gaining online under 90 thousand people.

The steadily growing DAU, high player ratings (92% positive reviews) and low price (around $ 20 without discount) make the game a serious competitor to the two main players in the survival niche — ARK: Survival Evolved and Rust.
