PulluP Entertainment, the parent company of publisher Focus Entertainment Publishing, released its financial report for the quarter ending September 30, 2024. The company revealed that the successful release of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has significantly boosted key business metrics.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2
- Quarterly revenue for PulluP Entertainment amounted to 200.1 million euros, a record sum for the company. Compared to last year, it grew by 4.3 times.
- Revenue from recent releases increased by 13 times year-over-year, reaching 164 million euros. The main hits were Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and Train Sim World 5.
- The company named the release of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 as its most successful in history. It previously announced that 4.5 million people played the game within a month.
- Train Sim World 5 surpassed previous entries in the series in terms of revenue, as well as user numbers and activity. Specific figures were not disclosed.
- Games from the back catalog generated 34.3 million euros for PulluP Entertainment, 6% more than last year.
- PulluP Entertainment reported that Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden did not meet its commercial expectations. Previously, similar statements were made by the game's developer, DON’T NOD.
- PulluP Entertainment expects the current fiscal year (April 2024 - March 2025) to be record-breaking for the company in terms of revenue and EBITA.
