The company Kepler Interactive, which released Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Sifu, and a whole range of other games, has expanded its portfolio. It has acquired part ownership of another publisher, Oro Interactive.
Super Battle Golf
Kepler Interactive bought a stake from the Belgian venture firm ForsVC, which invested in Oro Interactive in 2024. Neither the size of the stake nor the deal's amount is publicly disclosed, but the sale proved to be extremely profitable for ForsVC. According to the firm, it recouped its initial investment sevenfold.
It is reported that Oro Interactive will continue to operate independently but will now be able to seek support from Kepler Interactive if necessary.
In the past, Kepler Interactive and Oro Interactive have already worked together. They collaborated during the release of Super Battle Golf — a cooperative golf simulator for eight players where everyone plays simultaneously. According to ForsVC, it was after this title's success that Kepler Interactive decided to acquire a stake in the publisher. Notably, Super Battle Golf sold over a million copies in the first one and a half months after debut.
Oro Interactive was founded in 2020. In addition to Super Battle Golf, the games it has published include Easy Delivery Co., Dead Format, Roadside Research, and This Ain’t Even Poker, Ya Joker.
