Capcom has shared updated data on sales of the Monster Hunter franchise. Since 2004, the total circulation of all games in the series has exceeded the mark of 84 million copies.
Sales of Monster Hunter: Rise exceeded 10 million copies. The Sunbreak add—on was also successful – it sold more than 2 million copies in just five days from the moment of release on PC and Nintendo Switch.
The best—selling game in the series remains Monster Hunter: World – 21 million copies since 2018. This is an absolute record among all titles in the history of Capcom.
