The company PlayWay has divested its shares in Silk Road Games — a Polish game distributor focused on the Chinese market. It sold its stake in Silk Road Games for an undisclosed amount.

PlayWay promises to disclose details of the deal later. For now, PlayWay CEO Krzysztof Kostowski announced on social media only that his company decided to sell the shares as part of changes in business priorities. He added that PlayWay plans to recapitalize Space Boat Studios (developer of Pirate Simulator and Out of Reach) and acquire additional shares in GameBoom VR (developer of Cooking Simulator VR and Thief Simulator VR).

As of March 31, 2024, PlayWay owned 25% of Silk Road Games. Despite the sale, the companies will continue their cooperation.
