Israeli Playtika conducts another round of layoffs. She announced that she was preparing to cut 15% of the staff, or about 615 employees. The company’s management noted that this is not an easy decision, but it is necessary to improve the efficiency of Playtika.

The company intends to rationalize costs in general. In particular, now she plans to pay more attention to strategic investments in new games with high growth potential. In this regard, Playtika decided to close three games — she did not specify which projects would fall under the knife, but, according to TechCrunch, these could be MergeStories, DiceLife and Ghost Detective.

Recall that at the end of May, the media reported that Playtika laid off 250 people and closed offices in Los Angeles, London and Montreal. Five months later, it also became known about the closure of the Finnish studio Seriously.
