The studio Pieces Interactive has ceased to exist after 17 years of operation. They announced this on their official website.

Alone in the Dark

Pieces Interactive did not say what prompted this decision. Most likely, it was made by the studio's parent company Embracer Group. In their latest financial report, they reported that sales of the Alone in the Dark reboot, on which Pieces Interactive worked, did not meet expectations.

Pieces Interactive was founded in 2007. Since its inception, it has developed more than a dozen games for consoles, PCs, and mobile devices. Among them are Puzzlegeddon, Fret Nice, Leviathan Warships, Robo Surf, and Kill to Collect. The studio also contributed to the creation of Magicka 2. The reboot of Alone in the Dark became its last project.
