Additionally, Team Cherry announced the first expansion for Hollow Knight: Silksong titled Sea of Sorrow. The studio kept the details brief, revealing only that it will introduce new enemies and sea locations to the game. The expansion is set for release in 2026 and will be available for free.
Hollow Knight: Silksong was released on September 4, 2025, on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
