Last week, the media reported that the authorities of Saudi Arabia and Finland agreed to develop trade and business relations between the countries. The deal concerns a variety of industries, including healthcare, mining and energy, but it is believed that it also applies to games.

That’s what the portal thinks PocketGamer.biz . Journalists note that the list of industries also includes digital technologies, which, if desired, can include games.

Both Saudi Arabia and Finland are interested in the games. As the portal reminds, Savvy Gaming Group — the “daughter” of the Sovereign Fund of Saudi Arabia — actively invests in gaming companies. The foundation itself does the same. Finland, in turn, is known as the birthplace of successful mobile developers, for example, Supercell.

In addition, writes PocketGamer.biz , 89% of Saudi Arabia’s residents are gamers. At the same time, many of them leave large sums in games. According to estimates, ARPU in the country is $270. For comparison: in China, ARPU is equal to $32.
