Media Molecule co-founder Mark Healey has announced his retirement from the studio. He has worked at Media Molecule for over 17 years.
During this time, Healy managed to act as creative director of the first two LittleBigPlanet and director of Dreams. Prior to founding Media Molecule, he worked at Lionhead Studios and Bullfrog Productions.
Healy said on Twitter that he was proud of his work at Media Molecule and appreciated his former colleagues, but “the sea breeze woke up his pirate heart” and pulled him into a new adventure. Healy added that he will continue to develop games. Judging by his LinkedIn profile, he has already found a new job.
