In total, to date, the Japanese have bought 24.76 million Nintendo Switch consoles. Only DS (32.87 million) and Game Boy (32.4 million) were more popular. As for the 3DS, it sold 24.75 million copies in Japan.
Separately, Game Data Library published a list with consoles whose Japanese sales exceeded 10 million devices. There was not a single Xbox console in it. And of the PlayStation consoles, the list includes PS1 (18.85 million), PS2 (21.9 million), PS Portable (19.6 million) and PS3 (10.25 million).
