Attorneys at Nintendo continue their fight against game piracy. Recently, the company filed two lawsuits.

The first lawsuit is against SwitchPirates subreddit moderator James Williams, better known as Archbox. According to Nintendo, Williams owns several shops selling pirated copies of games for the Nintendo Switch handheld console. This alone is a major concern for Nintendo. Additionally, the company claims Williams uses the subreddit to promote a culture of piracy and encourage others to infringe on Nintendo's copyrights.

The second lawsuit targets the owners of the Modded Hardware platform, where flash cartridges and mod chips for hacking Nintendo Switch are sold, along with pre-hacked consoles.

In both cases, Nintendo demands that the violators compensate the company for damages and shut down their projects.
