Last November, Nintendo announced that it was going to launch a subsidiary of Nintendo Systems together with mobile developer DeNA. Five months later, they actually opened a joint venture.

Nintendo Systems is located in Tokyo. The company’s website says it is working on “a system that will simplify the delivery of Nintendo games to consumers.”

The head of Nintendo Systems was Nintendo veteran Tetsuya Sasaki, who participated in the creation of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Mario Kart DS, Wii Sports and Animal Crossing: Wild World.

80% of the shares of Nintendo Systems are owned by Nintendo.
