To be more precise, its annual revenue reached $51.8 billion. This is 5.4% more than in 2024. Previously, it had never generated such figures over a 12-month period.

According to Niko Partners analysts, the market will continue to grow further. By the end of 2026, turnover will increase by 4% to $53.9 billion and will reach almost $60 billion by 2030.

The revenue growth is occurring against the backdrop of increasing annual ARPU. In 2025, it reached $70 for the first time, and by 2036, it will reach $77.68. This is with a gaming audience of 770 million people.

Among the factors positively affecting the local market, analysts note:

  • the ongoing growth of niche and boutique genres, which are engaging previously untapped audiences;
  • the development of the D2C sector (referred to as out-of-app monetization by Niko Partners);
  • increased spending on premium PC and console games;
  • easing regulatory policies towards domestic gaming companies and Chinese players having access to Steam.
