The analytics company Newzoo shared the ranking of the top-grossing and most popular games on PC and consoles for February 2025.

Monster Hunter Wilds

Note: The revenue information is based on data from six key markets: the USA, the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, and France. The MAU ranking by Newzoo is formed based on data from 37 markets, excluding China and India, and does not include Nintendo Switch titles.

  • Monster Hunter Wilds debuted in third place among the top-grossing console and PC games. It achieved this in just one day (the release was on February 28). It also became the leader in revenue among premium titles.
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance II started at sixth place, while Civilization VII secured the seventh spot. Two more new entries made it to the top 20: PGA Tour 2K25 (18th place) and Avowed (20th place).
  • Fortnite remained the top-grossing game on consoles and PC. It also continued to lead in the MAU overall ranking across both platforms.
  • Counter-Strike 2 remained the most popular game by MAU on PC. However, in the overall ranking, it was in ninth place.
  • No new entry managed to enter the top 10 by MAU. The closest was Monster Hunter Wilds, which debuted at 13th place — with the PC version performing better than the console version.
  • The overall trend remains unchanged: in terms of active audience size, successful game services and platforms such as Minecraft, Roblox, Marvel Rivals, and League of Legends (7th on PC) lead the pack.
