The analytical company Newzoo studied the success of the cooperative shooter Helldivers 2 in February. We share the main conclusions from the report.

Helldivers 2

  • Last month, Helldivers 2 topped the chart of the highest-grossing premium PC and PlayStation 5 games according to Newzoo*. She collected most of her cash in the USA and the UK. The shooter also became the highest-grossing premium game in Italy, but in France, Spain, Germany and the UK it lost revenue to EA Sports FC 24.
  • 44.6% of the Helldivers 2 audience spent their time on Call of Duty (Modern Warfare II, III or Warzone 2.0). 42.6% also bought Lethal Company, and 37.8% of players made purchases in Fortnite.
  • In February, Helldivers 2 ranked 15th in the world** in terms of monthly active audience (MAU) in PC and PlayStation 5 games. If only shooters are left in the ranking, then Helldivers 2 will rise to sixth place.
  • The main MAU markets for Helldivers 2 were the USA and the UK.
  • On average, in February, players spent 20.2 hours for Helldivers 2. As a result, Helldivers 2 took the seventh place in the ranking in terms of the number of hours played among shooters and the 75th place among games of all genres.
  • 35.3% of gamers who played Helldivers 2 in February abandoned Fortnite for the Arrowhead shooter. 31% of people stopped playing Palworld for Helldivers 2, and 28.4% of people stopped playing Lethal Company.
