The analytics company Newzoo has finalized the results for the global video game market for 2023. They calculated that last year, the market earned $183.9 billion. This is slightly lower than the already reduced forecast of $184 billion from November, as analysts originally predicted revenue of $187.7 billion.

- Revenue from the mobile games segment — $89.9 billion. It decreased by 2.1% year-on-year. The last forecast was $90.4 billion.
- Revenue from the console games segment — $52.4 billion. An increase of 0.3%. Forecast — $53.2 billion.
- Revenue from the PC games segment — $39.6 billion. An increase of 8.4%. Forecast — $38.4 billion.
- Revenue from the browser games segment — $1.9 billion. A decrease of 16.9%. Forecast — also $1.9 billion.
