South Korean mobile publisher Netmarble reported for the first quarter of 2022. The company reported an increase in revenue, however, it was unable to make a profit.

The main thing from the report:

▪️net losses — $40.4 million. A quarter ago, the publisher’s net profit was $80 million;

▪️revenue — $491.1 million. Growth by 10.7% in annual terms;

▪️49% of Netmarble’s revenue came from the USA, 16% from South Korea, and 12% from Europe;

Almost half of the income (48%) was generated by casual games. Another 21% brought RPG, and 19% — MMORPG;

The highest-grossing games were Marvel: Contest of Champions and Cash Frenzy. They provided 9% of the company’s revenue each.
