Netflix games go beyond mobile devices. The company has started a beta test of playing games from the “cloud” on TVs.
So far, only a small number of residents of Canada and the UK can try out the new feature, and only on certain TV models.
At the start, two games will be available to test participants: the mystical thriller Oxenfree and the arcade Molehew’s Mining Adventure. Gamers will need to use a smartphone as a controller.
In the coming weeks, Netflix will launch a beta test also on PC and Mac.
