This is the fifth studio in Netflix and the second that the company founded from scratch.
The new team was headed by Chacko Sonny, a former executive producer of Overwatch. As noted by Mike Verdu, vice president of Netflix’s gaming division, Sonny could have settled anywhere, but joined Netflix because the platform has great potential in games.
Now there are 35 games in the Netflix library, 55 more titles are in the works.
