The Chinese giant NetEase has announced that the upcoming MMO Justice Online Mobile will feature a gaming analogue of ChatGPT. The neural network will allow you to have meaningful conversations with NPCs and influence the actions of characters.

For example, if a game user warns an NPC about a fire, he will run away to check his house. Also, the words of gamers will be reflected in the emotions of the NPC — people will be happy or upset, depending on the context.

The NetEase neural network was trained on history textbooks, books about martial arts, poems and songs. So far, the company intends to use it only to “revive” NPCs, but in the future it plans to use AI to generate content for the game.
