The creators of Lineage have published their financial report for the second quarter of 2024. Here are the details.
Lineage 2
- NCSOFT's quarterly sales totaled KRW 368.9 billion ($270.3 million), which is 16% less than last year.
- 59% of sales came from mobile games. The main hit remained Lineage M, which generated KRW 106.97 billion ($78.4 million). Also in the top 3 were Lineage W (KRW 65.47 billion or $48 million) and Lineage 2M (KRW 42.3 billion or $31 million).
- Online PC games accounted for another 23% of sales. The top earner was Lineage with KRW 24.5 billion ($18 million). This was followed by Guild Wars 2 (KRW 23.48 billion or $17.2 million) and Lineage 2 (KRW 21.2 billion or $15.5 million).

- 65% of NCSOFT's sales came from South Korea.
- At the end of the quarter, NCSOFT's operating profit dropped by 75% to KRW 8.84 billion ($6.48 million). At the same time, the company's net profit increased by 133% to KRW 71.1 billion ($52.1 million).
