SEGA has reduced the staff at Relic Entertainment studio, known for the strategies of Company of Heroes, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War and Age of Empires IV. 121 employees were made redundant.
The dismissals were explained by restructuring, which had to be carried out due to “external factors”. Now the studio is going to focus on its key franchises.
In the message about the dismissals, SEGA stressed that she herself is in a healthy financial position and intends to continue investing in Relic Entertainment games.
