Composer Mick Gordon, best known for the soundtracks to the latest DOOM games, decided to support Ukraine. He announced that he had given the money earned on Atomic Heart to the Red Cross.

Gordon joined the Atomic Heart team in 2020. In his message about the donation to Ukraine, the composer also admitted that he enjoyed working with the Mundfish studio. “The unique aesthetics of the game, combined with my love of Soviet—era synthesizers, provided an exciting opportunity for creativity,” Gordon wrote. Now he is “looking forward” to the release of the game.

Atomic Heart will be released on February 21 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
