The French studio Douze Dixièmes has possibly ceased to exist. It operated for nine years.
MIO: Memories In Orbit
Initially, the closure of Douze Dixièmes was reported by the newspaper Le Figaro, and later the information was confirmed by Origami journalist Gauthier Andres.
In recent years, Douze Dixièmes was part of PulluP Entertainment, the parent company of publisher Focus Entertainment. However, it is reported that just before the closure, the co-founders of Douze Dixièmes bought the studio, allowing them to dissolve it on their own terms.
The reason for this decision is unknown. It is likely that the studio was affected by the less than successful release of the Metroidvania MIO: Memories in Orbit. The game was released in January 2026 and, despite positive audience reviews, did not meet the commercial expectations of PulluP Entertainment.
Douze Dixièmes was founded in 2017. According to the latest public data, the studio employed 10 people.
