According to Kommersant, on December 16, the Moscow Arbitration Court received an application demanding that the KRI company, the organizer of the Comic Con Russia and IgroMir exhibitions, be declared bankrupt.

The author of the application is LLC “DIS-3”. Earlier, through the court, it asked KRI to return 3.5 million rubles. The company paid this amount for participation in Igromir 2021, which was canceled due to the pandemic. In September, the court granted DIS-3’s claim and ordered KRI to transfer money to the company.

Kommersant’s sources also claim that KRI intends to leave Russia, since foreign companies no longer want to come to exhibitions. At the beginning of the year, KRI negotiated the sale of the Russian business to MTS, but the operator refused the deal.
