Serious problems with the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic are reported by journalist Jason Schreier with reference to their own sources.

According to him, by June 30, the developers had completed a vertical slice of the game for Sony and Lucasfilm to demonstrate, but the Aspyr studio management did not like the project. According to one of the sources, it took an unreasonable amount of time and money to prepare the slice.

It is known that shortly after that, the studio fired design director Brad Prince and art director Jason Minor. Saber Interactive will probably finish the game.
