Sources of the Kotaku portal claim that the Polish indie studio Reikon Games fired 60-70 people. This is 56% of the total number of employees of the company.

Kotaku initially wrote that the layoffs affected 80% of the staff, but later changed the figure.

The fact of layoffs is confirmed by the publications of former Reikon Games employees on LinkedIn. In particular, senior 3D artist Maksim Malinowski, senior QA specialist Jan R. and animator Zbigniew Stefanczyk wrote about their dismissal. They called the layoffs massive, but did not say how many people were injured.

Reikon Games has not publicly announced the layoffs and has not commented on media information.

According to Kotaku, at least 5,959 people have been laid off in the gaming industry since the beginning of January. For comparison, 10,466 specialists were dismissed over the past year.
