At the end of March, Nacon put up for sale Spiders, the studio behind GreedFall and Steelrising. According to the French portal Origami, no one wanted to purchase it.

According to Origami's sources, Spiders' closure is now just a matter of time. This reality is understood within the studio as well. Its employees have practically ceased working on games and are instead focusing on "updating resumes and self-education," while the social and economic committee at Spiders has allowed interested developers to buy the equipment they need.
It is reported that today, April 29, the bankruptcy manager for Spiders will file a court petition for the studio’s liquidation. Once approved, Nacon will have 15 days to disband the team.
Nacon has not commented on information regarding the potential closure of Spiders.
Remember, Nacon itself is experiencing tough times. Two months ago, due to financial difficulties faced by its largest shareholder, Bigben Interactive, it filed for insolvency, followed shortly by four of its subsidiaries, including Spiders, taking similar steps. Nacon might give more details about its future and the future of its subsidiaries in its annual report in May.
Update: The studio Spiders has officially confirmed its closure.
