The British publisher Kwalee has also taken up layoffs. The company has started restructuring, as part of which it has reduced several dozen employees.

According to sources of the MobileGamer portal, about 40 people lost their jobs. This is 10% of the Kwalee state. Most of the layoffs took place at the company's headquarters in Leamington Spa, but they also took place at the publisher's Indian office. The cuts affected employees in the recruitment, testing, development and design departments.
Kwalee confirmed to MobileGamer that she had parted ways with some of the staff, but indicated that she had fired fewer than 40 people. She did not specify exactly how much.
The company also stated that it is going to hire new employees in the near future. She wants to increase the staff from 400 to 410-420 people. For comparison, a year ago, 346 employees worked at Kwalee. In addition, Kwalee plans to make several investments. She has already agreed on one deal — Kwalee buys a stake in 8SEC, which specializes in hybrid casual games, for 1.5 million euros.
"We are rebuilding our business and our team. This will make it more profitable to use the opportunities that currently exist in the sector and grow," Kwalee said in a MobileGamer comment.
