On April 19, Meta* conducted a new round of layoffs, according to the Game Developer portal. Among others, employees of the XR division of Reality Labs, including developers from the game studios Downpour Interactive and Ready at Dawn, were cut.
It is unknown exactly how many people were fired.
In March, Meta* announced plans to lay off 10,000 people. These dismissals were to take place in several rounds, one of which was expected just at the end of April. The next round should take place in May.
