Chinese authorities have allowed NetEase to publish Diablo Immortal, according to Bloomberg sources. While it is assumed that the release will take place on July 25, but “at the last minute” the date may change.
Diablo Immortal was supposed to be released in China on June 23, but four days before the release, NetEase postponed it indefinitely. According to rumors, this happened due to the fact that the official account of the title on Weibo published a post criticizing Chinese President Xi Jinping.
At the time of writing the news, NetEase shares rose by 6.26% to $19.47 apiece.
