Dead by Daylight: Stranger Things Chapter 2
Information about the layoffs at Behaviour Interactive was reported by Eurogamer. They found a tweet in X from a senior animator of Dead by Daylight stating that they were affected by the studio's layoffs. The specialist did not share any details, so it is unclear what exactly prompted Behaviour Interactive to take this step, apart from the industry crisis, which many gaming companies have cited in similar cases in recent years.
Behaviour Interactive itself has not officially announced any layoffs. Eurogamer has reached out to them for comment but has not yet received a response.
The last time mass layoffs occurred at the studio behind Dead by Daylight was in 2024. In January of that year, Behaviour Interactive parted with 45 employees, and in June, with nearly another hundred, as it decided to make strategic changes to its structure. Three months later, it also announced the closure of the Midwinter Entertainment team, which was working on the canceled cooperative PvE shooter Project T in the Dead by Daylight universe.
