The Russian government may help domestic developers with publishing games in China. Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko instructed gaming companies that are part of the Competence Center for the Development of System-wide and Applied Software for Gaming Services (hereinafter CCR) to prepare proposals for the necessary measures of state support for the export of games.

This is reported by Vedomosti with reference to sources.

According to the newspaper, the Central Committee began discussing state support measures in February. There are no concrete proposals yet, but it is expected that the developers will not ask for additional funding, but “remove administrative barriers”. For example, to establish ties with the Chinese regulator and simplify obtaining licenses for the release of games in China.

Vedomosti sources noted that the Central Committee is discussing the export of games not only to China, but also to other friendly countries. However, it is the Chinese market that is considered a priority.
